Stargazing Field Trip

With: Dave Nelson

Fee: By donation

Size: 15 / Appropriate for children 10+ with accompanying adult

Have you ever seen the rings of Saturn through a telescope? Or looked at the Milky Way's vastness? Dave and fellow amateur astronomers will treat us to these experiences. Several telescopes will help us see various objects in our solar system and the Milky Way beyond.

On a clear night we will meet in his field on 50 Bley Road in Alstead.

If the weather is inclement for our set date, we will meet on October 3rd instead.

David Nelson's interest in astronomy was piqued in high school when a physics teacher brought in his telescope and treated students to evening views of Jupiter. And he's been looking at the night sky ever since.
